23 educational institutions came under shelling from the Russian aggressors in the Kherson region

The Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office provides procedural guidance in 23 criminal proceedings initiated as a result of hostile bombings and shelling of educational institutions in the region.
This was reported in the Kherson regional prosecutor’s office.
Since the large-scale invasion of Ukraine by Russian troops, the Kherson region has been one of the first regions to be destroyed in civilian infrastructure, including kindergartens, schools, vocational schools, colleges, and more.
Most educational institutions were directly damaged in Kherson – 6, Oleshky – 3, Chornobayivka – 2, Nova Kakhovka – 2, Vysokopillya – 2, Kozatske – 2, Vesele – 2, Stepne – 1, Lyubymivka – 1, Arkhanhelsk – 1, Zahradivka – 1.
One kindergarten in Zahradivka and one in Vysokopillya were destroyed.
Preliminary qualification of events – Part 1 of Art. 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (violation of the laws and customs of war).
Currently, the law enforcement officers are taking all possible measures to bring the perpetrators to justice, despite the inability to inspect the scene.
Prosecutors continue to document information on the number of damaged and destroyed educational institutions, as well as the damage caused by the aggressor’s actions.
